In 2020, over 200 climate experts reviewed 14,000 scientific studies and unequivocally
concluded what we've all be felt deep down- climate change is both here and human driven. Armed with this knowledge,
the Whole Earth Catalog seeks to inform home buyers with the latest regional climate information and trends to ensure that the home they buy today
will be practical, ideal, and safe for the future.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
We plan to utilize weather and environmental data from the government and elsewhere to curate a "Dwelling Suitability Forcast" (DSF) metric.
The DSF will be calculated for each home on the platform and will be displayed in addition to other real estate listings information. Users will be able to locate homes within regions that are both concious of their and the Planet's future.
WHERE'S THE DATA FROM?
Currently, the real estate listing data is sourced from an unofficial zillow api. Air and water quality data and other federally aquired climate metrics
will be sourced from Data.gov

FUTURE PLANS?
Our short term goals include:
- Adding map functionality that will display regional real estate listings within an area and a visualization of how suited those areas 10 and 20 years from now
- Searching capabilities using user's geolocation data and well as user input
- Incorporating DSF data with map capabilities
